Why? If the legislature is Ok with it why should you have a problem with it?

No it's not. I voted for him both times. I think he's make a great president if he'd shut the frick up. He can't help it. We have two democrat senators in Georgia because of him pouting that Brian Kemp couldn't force the secretary of state to toss out votes.

Bingo. The problem is the party and I'd rather have someone opposed to it in place. Also, I want someone potentially crazy enough to make radical change in Washington. I'd rather burn the country down and rebuild than continue with the status quo that is the Republican party. Simple as.

No it's not.

This board is split on DJT.

You made a lazy characterization.

Seems to happen a lot. At some point you've got to ask yourself if it's on the fricker or the frickee.

Do the frickers care who the frickee is, unless and until we make a serious concerted effort to come after them (the frickers)?

That's fine. Won't hold my breath, but I'm all for that.

But that wouldn't change the fact that at some point, getting fricked over in politics becomes more about you than it is about them.

Sure, I guess. Has anyone else stepped up to tell us they are more committed to taking "them" on at this point?

I don't see how this is relevant to the point. All I'm saying is "Trump was fricked over by _______ (fill in blank) is more an acknowledgement of ineffectiveness than an excuse given it happened all the time.

As for being committed to taking "them" on, I'm not persuaded by those words. I'm not sure there's anybody better, but we have DT's first term to put "taking them on" in perspective.

Seems pretty simple. The blank based on the discussion is:
quote:

RINOS fricked him? ryan and mccain?

Who has stepped up more to say they are committed to countering those in the party who are pushing it similar to the way those individuals were?

I get it. You must not think Trump was effective in doing so, but he said it, he tried some as best I can tell, and is saying he will continue it. But is that better or worse than those who aren't even saying they want to do such a thing?

I don't know. I'd rather the guy at least saying it, though, all other things being equal.

Do you really believe Trump is the only guy saying he'll stand up to the establishment? Hell, I bet even Lindsey Graham says he'll do that. I know Nikki Haley says it - "stands up to the establishment and good old boy system."
