Why is this board inundated with pro v anti trump rhetoric?

Our country is on the precipice of calamity, if we haven’t already crossed that line.
Socially, things are borderline insane. Men competing with women as women, people arguing over which bathroom to use, and our schools being inundated with shite that shouldn’t be approached, much less endorsed.
Financially our country is facing a looming energy crisis, out of control inflation, and numbers that have been grossly manipulated to tell a false narrative.
We have an administration that has basically avoided scrutiny, even though there is a laptop with some damning evidence, a diary that is shocking, and appointments that can only be described as bizarre.
All of this going on, obvious problems that need to be addressed, and the board is still obsessed with trump of the pro and anti variety.
Do we not have enough things to worry about that the conservative base need be fractured over a particular candidate?
He was a good president. There are questions regarding the 2020 election. Our country enjoyed abundance and was headed in the right direction before Covid.
China unleashed that shite on the world and we reacted in a way that destroyed all of our positive momentum and changed how we handle elections. All of these decisions hurt our country.
The left and right, if being honest can agree on that. Isn’t it time to turn the page and focus on our current issues?
tl;dr:
We have too many problems to constantly argue about trump.

And the pro trump crowd is adamantly opposed to DeSantis and the DeSantis crowd is adamantly opposed to trump.
frick, I’ll take either one.

Just wait until next year.

But it is primary season coming up.
This always happens. They will all fall in line after the primary.

There are way more Trump people that won’t vote for DeSantis than the other way around.
I’m pretty locked in on DeSantis but I would vote for Trump. I just don’t believe he can win and I think DeSantis can.
If DeSantis, who is the most conservative governor in America is a “Soros/Deep State plant” the battle is already lost and we just wait to be put in the fema camps

How has this been determined?

My anecdotal observations. There are some hardcore anti-Trumpers behind DeSantis but most seem to be conservatives who just don’t think Trump can win or believe in the platform DeSantis has succeeded with in Florida.

Bottom line it is a battle of good-Trump vs evil- pedo joe. Always gonna attract a crowd.

Lots of idiots on here have taken the bait. My favorites are the ones that act like the 2020 election was legit. And the ones that act like the novel coronovirus was not released on purposed to ruin trumps presidential legacy and help steal the election.

To believe Trump cant win, you gotta believe Biden got 81 million votes. An all paper ballot election with only same day votes counted and signature verification will result in Biden losing about 30 million votes. Still think Trump can't win?

Former Democrat Trump wasn't satisfied dividing the country. Now he wants to divide the Republican party beyond repair. Trump and the Democrats are playing 4D chess.

Because no one...even the people that hate him...just cannot stop talking about him.
Ordinarily they would forget about him...

Because this board has gone full retard in the past 18 months in particular. A bunch of alleged "conservatives" bickering like women and basing their "logic" on emotions like liberals do.
I'm only here to post sarcasm and offer fishing/firearms advice any more.

The U.S. just started exporting a record 3.4 million barrels of oil per day. The U.S. energy industry hasn’t been this productive since 2014. The industry was decimated from 2015-2020. You have no idea what you’re talking about in terms of US energy.
