Baby due in late May. What are some things I can do to really cherish these last two months?

Sleep or go on a vacation

Sleep. Go fishing. Go golfing. Get on a diet now bc you’re gunna eat like shite when the baby comes. Get ahead of work stuff now.

Go out!!! dont say no to a party, go out to eat..sit at bars. You can't save sleep, but your social life and ability to do things you want will be shite.
It hit me hard quick that I wasn't getting adult social time with my wife

Have sex with your wife. It will be a while and that pregnant sex is some of the best.

Skeet in your ole lady while there's still built-in birth control

We took a trip in early April before our son came Memorial Day weekend. I quit working two weeks before my due date and slept a LOT. Got the house in order and cooked for the freezer.
As a dude? I would do whatever you do…fish, golf, hunt, see friends. The first months will not be conducive to that.

Congratulations, but glad it’s you and not me. Just became an empty nester about 7 months ago.

Sleep relax and watch every movie you ever wanted to see but never got around too.
When my kids learned to read I had to semi retire my TUCK FEXAS shirt.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

the kneejerk "sleep" response is overrated. Sure getting a heavenly night's sleep is great but where are you like 12 hours later? Right back where you were 24 hours prior. It's not something you can take with you or reminisce about when the baby comes.
I can't count how many times I'll think in my head "oh this sounds like fun" or "Man I'd really like to [blank].." before realizing oh yeah, I can't do anything, I have a kid.
I would recommend getting out and DOING stuff as much as you can, because once the baby comes your free time and outside the home life is going to dwindle to practically nothing. Take a vcation even if it's somewehre within 2 hours, jsut get away from the house for a weekend. Binge watch whatever you've got saved on the DVR. Do work in the yard. Anyting that requires going out and DOING stuff, go do that.
You're going to sleep every day whether you want to or not. Granted it's not always going to be great sleep, and it will frequently be interrupted, and it may not be at a regular schedule. But you're going to sleep. You can't say the same about all the other stuff up above.

You will still sleep, just not as much. You will still have sex with your wife, just not as much as now.
You will, however, never have a clean house again for at least the next 8-10 years. Enjoy the clean house now. That’s my advice.

drink enough to get hungover.
because you will never want a hangover again once jr comes and is wide awake at 0500 needing attention

Your wife is having the baby…..shouldn’t affect you

I got hammered drunk a lot and slept in. You can still get drunk with a kid but the sleeping in shite is over.
Plus you have a designated driver right now.
