Karen Carpenter

Karen Carpenter is a very good one. But if I were to be able to make a change there, it'd be not just give her 10 more years but let her PLAY DRUMS. Not only was she terrific but just so much more alive and joyful doing that in the video clips I've seen.

This thread would be a great start for a horror book.

Stephen King has Pet Cemetary, we could do STAR SEMATARY

You bring your favorite star back to life, but they never quit singing your favorite song, so you have to figure out how to kill them

For me, it would always be Jim Morrison singing The End, with that smug smile always knowing that he is correct, because it's always the end.
But the whole small town in Maine, gets taken over by zomby rock stars.
All the stores run out of hairspray and shite hits the fan!

Eddie Cochran was a huge influence on Hendrix as well as Bowie, the Beatles, Zeppelin, and the Stones.

Jesse Belvin had a major impact on Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Womder and others.

AIC was amazing with Lane, but I don’t see them doing a whole lot differently than what they had already done.

Lane was a shell of his former self for years. 10 years added to his life sadly wouldn't have been productive.

My list would be:
Burton
Rhoads
Dimebag and
Hoon

Dave Williams from Drowning Pool. I believe he had a lot of great music in front of him when he died young.

Buddy Holly. Amazing song writer already ahead of his time. None of the drug od's because they would have just died a year or so later.

... great choice! You wonder how his music would have evolved, if he lived another 10 years.

Scott Weiland. I would love a few more STP albums with him as the lead singer.
he was kicked out the band, I doubt he would ever returned.

I’d like to add Bradley Nowell from Sublime. He never got to see the massive success from the self titled album. The growth the band showed in just three albums was amazing. However, most of the songs on the self titled deal with his struggles w addiction so who knows how the band would have continued to progress

Randy Rhoads - was a visionary at a young age would have loved to see where he went

Kurt Cobain - his death elevated his shitty music and had he lived longer, everyone could have seen the hack he was and maybe rock music wouldn't have died for nearly 20 years
