Man that is really fricked up. I am sorry for those affected, but damn glad my kids are about 100 miles north west of there.

Coming soon to a tv commercial near you “Did you live anywhere in the eastern half of the United States and suffer from headaches, diarrhea, or death?”

Nah, he's too busy race baiting, saying white construction workers take jobs away from minority ones.

From what I’ve read, it’s important to burn this stuff off vs it “boiling” into the atmosphere and creative acid rain. No excuse for the cover up but it sounds like it’s the least bad thing… Or it’s intentional and they’re trying to kill us.

I grew up in St Charles Parish with chemical plants everywhere. In elementary school, occasionally we'd all start rubbing our eyes at recess because they were burning and teachers would run us all inside.

Call me cavalier, but I'm not all that worried about chemicals coming down from Ohio.

Who decided to blow it up? I dont remember them burning the floating oil from the BP gulf spill years ago.

No, but the Coast Guard fired water cannons at the rig causing it to tip over and rupture the drill string on the ocean floor, make it a million times more difficult to repair.

This was after BP told them not to attempt to put out the fire.

This is very serious and it's a crisis.

So DC will ignore it and force the Ukraine/Russia war to be the main narrative again.

Not sure why everyone thinks the Mississippi River and other water sources downstream will become a dead zone from this. Vinyl chloride is only a liquid under pressure. It would’ve turned to a gas the second it was vented and burned off. It’s not like it could be dumped into the water sources in the area.

Apparently the US government intentionally caused the largest Volative Organic Compound in world history when they blew up the Nordstream pipelines . VOC's are a stronger global warming chemical than co2.
