Smoking is the worst for me, I picked it up in the Army and haven’t been able to kick the habit. Lord knows I’ve tried. If anyone has any tips on how to I’m all ears.
Air Force, flight surgeon suggested i smoke. (instead of saying JfC you are taking this shite hard, take up yoga.)
10 years later I quit 2 to 3 packs habit.
1. cut back. space them out some. set aside a number you can stand.
2. week 2. subtract 2 cigs. week 2 1 less. et cetera.
3. never bum. tell friends.
4. a long shower or hot bath every day. this and massage really help.
5. cardio exercise some. swim if you can.
6. get a massage once a week.
7. do not get constipated.
no cheese or chicken if you get constipated.
you need to facilitate release. get a dry brush.
use on palms and back and feet.
8. sun bathe 15 minutes.
too cold? sit in warm house in front of open sunny window. shirt off.
9. when you get down to a few, accept it. no bumming.
you can stay at 3 a day for a week. then 2.
then 1 late in day.
then none. get a massage the day after. accupuncture. reiki.
if you have a juicer or vitamix get it out.
if not buy a selection of favorite fruit.
lighter food the first two weeks. make vegie soup if you dont have a juicer or vita mix.
never give up.
never surrender.
you can stay at 4 or 5 a day for a month until you are ready.
you can win this.

Im asking because I really don't know, but do you have to speed eat every meal or does it depend on what branch you are in and/or where you are located?

Always doing something, now I have to go wipe down my ammo.

It comes from Basic Training. Unfortunately, some kids had literally zero structure in their lives prior to joining the military so they put you in to a routine that is extremely structured...including chow hall. Most people keep that shite for the rest of their lives.
I would still do it to this day 25 years later if I didn't consciously make myself slow down.
EDIT: I'm fairly sure it's across the board...but I was only in the army so that's all I can speak to.

I googled this term to make sure it was what I thought it was, but it list the things you mentioned and a few other things one being... they evidently are likely to fall for pyramid schemes.

That beyond infuriating and I’ve been in the military.
I also can’t tolerate my hair touching my face.

I cannot sleep past 0430 no matter how late I stay up

It gives me anxiety when we’re close to being late for anything. My wife is one of those, 20 minutes late is on time, kind of people. So it’s a daily battle.
I constantly run around the house barking at her and the kids to get their asses in gear and get moving.
Took me a while to scale back all the cussing I did. I still do it, a lot, but it was a downright problem and a though habit to break.

In Miami, 2 sets of wedding, baptism, graduation etc, invitations are sent out. Gringos get invitations with the actual time. Cubans get invitations showing the event starting an hour earlier than it actually does.
If that’s true it’s hilarious.

Getting out of the rack at 5 am and running 5-6 miles. Kidding though. It was good times. Wish I still did that. You’d think you would be drained of energy but it started the day off right.

Absolutely. It blows my mind how that doesn’t other regular people.
During the Buffalo/Cincy game, I brought up Mattress Mack's horrible gig line during his commercial that aired in Houston. I can't help it. I get that he's rich, but you have a media team, surely someone can fix it??
Always ten minutes early.
Always get a haircut every week, bald fade.
Eat like I have five military seconds to finish.
Iron shirts.
Good posture.
Move with a purpose.
