Dipping
Dark humor
Talking to random people in the next stall while taking a shite
Set all clocks to 24 hr time
Talking about shite that makes people uncomfortable

Ha. And co-workers too. That is probably with you for life Devil, especially if you were an Officer.

Now, discuss picking up brass after you get out.

Speed eating and holding entire sentences comprised of nothing but the work "frick" and "shite." I also cannot skip making my bed...ever. It drives the GF nuts.

Don’t ex military folks have a tendency to get up at 4am, necessary or not?

That’s actually a good idea.

Many mentioned above…speed eating, waking up early, always being early, clothes in closet hung same way and sorted by color and long sleeve/short sleeve, cursing, needing to use the pisser or going to make a sit down head call and still make my bed to where I could bounce a quarter off of it.

Never have quit range walking. Still eat faster than most but not near as fast when I served. Never gave much thought to the way I hang my shirts but I absolutely do this. They absolutely must face the same direction.

All above. Also, took a long time to quit using Frick in every sentence and/or in the middle of any word with 2 or more syllables. It took a friend’s father (Navy vet) to point out that I was saying it for me to quit.

Three key spotting features to identify dependas in the wild:

1. PX camo leggings stretched to within a millimeter of failure trying to contain a weapons-grade FUPA

2. wearing a T-shirt declaring that being a military wife is the hardest job in the military

3. when they speak they work "TRICARE" or "do you know who my husband is" into every other sentence

Speed eating, Walking as everyone mentioned and waking up early everyday i'm talking between 4am and 6am. I rarely take sick days at work. Probably 3 days in the last 5 years. I served 4 1/2 years and if we were sick they made us go down to the base hospital to prove it. So why bother? i just went to work. I guess that carried over to civilian world.

-Super direct, a blunt person. (sensitive people dislike it)
-Fast showers
-Never late. If you're on time you're late!

Thanks for all yall service!

Smoking is the worst for me, I picked it up in the Army and haven’t been able to kick the habit. Lord knows I’ve tried. If anyone has any tips on how to I’m all ears.

Speed eating, I can pace myself and still finish well before my family.
Military time
Being direct, we were always taught to use clear and concise directions. That is what you get and if you fricked up I tell you that just like that.
Waking up early, I cannot no matter how bad I want to sleep past 0500.

Hospital corners-frick that, maybe done twice since service. Gig line-do use this on occasion because I still wear the buckle.
Still stand at attention when the NA is played with my right hand over my heart and my left hand likes it's holding a roll of quarters, feet at 90 degrees.

Nothing. I'm glad to be out. Why would I carry over traits from such a miserable place. Nah I'm good.
