Easily the worst loss in Saints history. Cost us more than just a Super Bowl trip.

Terrible no call which led to the awful PI coach’s challenge experiment

Counter-point: If you’re not a Saints fan, the entire ordeal and the aftermath on this board were hysterical.

I get so pissed watching Tommylee Lewis hop up and trot back to the sidelines like nothing happened. He DGAF.

Nearly as bad was this magical extension of the sideline:

I still would like to hear the Line Judge give an explanation to why he didn't throw the flag. That was awful.

My interest in the N.F.L. had been declining some before then but that play was the bullet to the head for it. Coupled with the Saints turning pretty shitty now. Hard to care after something like this rigged crap.

Lead to a failed drive by the great Drew Brees in OT to put it away. Then the saints gave up a “chip shot” 57 yard field goal.

But the outcome of The game definitely was caused by one bad call.

It wasn’t that bad. Bang bang play.

That was really embarrassing for the NFL

But the public tantrum by Saints fans after was even more embarrassing. Lawsuits, saying the game should restart, etc

Actually, that sounds like a lot Louisiana Bengal fans as of late

Tom Brady would've been screaming for a call.

Brees just stood there like a lil bitch.

I remember me and my buddies watching this drunk as shite in our dorm room freshman year. We yelled so loud the RA came down and gave us a warning. We ended up just hopping on one of the campus busses and riding it around for no reason other than to just get out and seething in drunken anger.

Worst no call in NFL history. Saints win the Super bowl that year. At the minimum they score more than three points.

The Saints were destined to blow out the Pats and win the Super Bowl that year, but Goodell had has cronies interfere to screw Payton and help out his buddy Kroenke. My fandom never really recovered from this game. I just don’t care as much.

The no call was horrible, people remember that

The pi in overtime, holding and pushing cgm and the resulting interception was equally as egregious. Iirc that met the textbook for roughing the passer too.
