My family has always been partial to Boston Terriers

I had an aunt and uncle that had a couple of them. Crazy little shits. They would spin around in circles chasing the ceiling fan.

One of them, when he got overly excited, had an eyeball that would pop out. My uncle would pop it back in and the dog, and my uncle, would just go on like nothing happened. Very weird.

Probably bad breeding from whatever puppy mill they got them from.

Depends on what you want out of a dog.

This. "Which breed is best" is like asking which caliber is best.

I bred Great Pyrenees for a while. They are great livestock guard dogs but good luck keeping them nearby. I have 60 acres with a house almost in the middle of it and that was not nearly enough land for them. They patrol huge areas. You have to pen them with the animals they are guarding or pen them and neuter them right at 8 months. I can't imagine keeping one inside a house.

Mixed with an Anatolian, you can get a shorter haired guard dog that roams less but is more aggressive, which is what we ended up doing.

I love our Australian Shepherd, but he’s aggressive as hell. Not friendly at all to strangers. Kind of a pain in the arse. Super smart and loves a handful of people he grew up around but mean to everyone else.

And save me the ‘ohhh but they never shed’ crap. Who the f*** thought it was a good idea to take the most beautiful, majestic breed in the world and then breed it with an ugly arse poodle. That’s like Livvy Dunne hooking up with OWEO

What's the closest Sonic to you right now ole boy?

I've owned a lab, doberman lab mix, and currently have a lab pit mix and a dane pit mix. The lab pit is the best dog I've ever had. Loyal, friendly, smart, not scared of anything but super chill

Dachshunds are either entitled cowardly little shits or vicious monsters, no in-between.

Chihuahuas are just…the worst.

Well if you mix the two, you get a super dog. I have a Chiweenie and he's the best. Rarely barks, doesn't bite and just wants to love everyone.

Portuguese water dog. Incredibly smart, not annoying barkers, very good with kids, and great boat dogs!

Because he's the alpha in the household, to him.

Had the same issue with a german shepherd. I actually liked that she was an a-hole to strangers, so i never corrected it.
