Good. I’m off work starting on the 23 and I don’t go back until the 3rd. I hope to have some nice wintery views out the window in front of my model desk.

So wait, you’re off work and want to spend it inside? frick that noise. Gimme 50 and 75 that week so I can enjoy not being stuck inside.

I was living in Killian at that time, but we had gone to iberville parish for Christmas Eve. Felt it out there too, and saw the smoke on the way back.

Thanks, looks like the threat of snow has backed off a bit not hearing much about that anymore.

I distinctly remember this night. I convinced the girl I was with that it was too cold for me to leave her parents' house. We eventually warmed up.

Just a joke because usually in the south we just get shite like cold arse rain or freezing rain, rarely actually snow

Cold, even 20s cold, for several days doesn't concern me all that much. Freezing rain does.

But the GFS at least hasn't been predicting any of that with this. At least not in South Louisiana. And I hope it stays that way.

What a day that was, started off with just a few flurries but once it started snowing it didn’t stop until the next day. Ended up with 9 inches of snow

Nothing really has a good handle on it yet. Anywhere from a couple days of pretty cold to a weekish of not getting above freezing and lows in teens, maybe lower. This depends on where you are, of course. Farther North, into North AL, TN, KY has a chance to a see some dangerously cold weather.

that was horrible
trees exploding everywhere and no power for a week. No power at my house means no water either. And the mess I had to clean up afterwards was hurricane level
