They have them at ODU up here in VA. I went to a game here, and they are DISTRACTING AF, and not in a good way. I'm sure we get them soon however, it's the big thing now.
Also years ago when Shaq joined the Heat, they were one of the first teams to get that "ribbon" effect on the scoreboard displays that moved and wrapped around the arena. I don't know which is worse.

I think led lights are a good idea for cost and brightness, but screw the light show crap.

I go to the MSL games here in Austin. It’s a lot of fun and I love the team. It is a complete light show throughout the game. However, it’s a gimmick and necessary because there is not 100 years of tradition backing the club. Tiger Stadium is special. We don’t need gimmicks. All we need to do is 1) lower the ticket prices, 2) not schedule I-AA creampuffs, and 3) keep winning so that we don’t get any more 11:00 a.m. games
