185 at 6'3 is rail thin

For an elite athlete, perhaps. For a normal human male it's ideal in terms of healthy weight.
Absent my rooting interest I'd take The U plus the points all day.

I hope they don’t make this a regular thing

If it was intended as a tribute, that's great. But it's time to move on.

we use to play them every year between 1932 and 1983

And for many of those years Rice was a legitimate top tier program.
With regard to plastering ads everywhere, LSU is the Tin Cup of college athletic programs.
I'm a Michigan fan, but #2? C'mon, man!!

Are those seats too low, i.e. will players and equipment obstruct the view?

Absolutely. I'm In section 302,row 37. Great views all the way down to about row 12-13. Below that bad perspective, and below 4 or 5 you see the backs of the players on the sidelines.

I think Joe just hit Chase, again

Funnier, and more accurate, if it's #2 instead of #1.

Ohio State outplayed Georgia. Should have won that game.

I’m pretty sure any prior starting QB who’s had at the very least a slightly above average year has never lost his job the next spring.

I'm dubious about "never", but it is rare. Also rare is a QB who makes it to year 5 on the basis of "slightly above average" performances in a program that demands constant improvement. There's a decent chance that we will equal or slightly improve on the '22 record, but 2 or 3 losses isn't likely to win the SEC West again, much less contend for the CFPs. If that's good enough for year 2, then it should also be good enough to play Nussmaier or Howard enough put us in the position of not starting a novice in 24.
#1 Hail to the Victors (Michigan)
#2 Whatever
JD5, with this team, is a guaranteed 9 win season. But it's also guaranteed that there will be at least 2 opponents who will shut down his running, make us beat them with his arm, and leave us at 9-3.

I think all of them are available on YouTube.

Odd that a plane did an emergency landing in the middle of NYC.

Go to Google Maps and search JFK. It's a solid 45 minute ride from Manhattan in moderate traffic. It has very long runways, laid out beside Jamaica Bay. It is a major hub for international flights to and from Europe, South America and Asia.
Not before he wins the starting job...
