Purple and gold are such good colors for LED light shows too.

We should do the lights, but we should up the game with them. Get some that would let us show old highlights in a huge projection on the field. Imagine watching the earthquake game highlights and the lights giving a shaking effect when the TD is caught.

I was in the rose bowl for the UCLA game

It was super cool they cut the lights, had an LED show while playing “California Love” by dr Dre going into the 4th

Made me feel so lame for the calling Baton Rouge song lol

LED lights are so last year.

If we do something, make it better.

I’m sure we will get them eventually. Don’t understand why some are so worried about LED lights…would they fill the stadium on a night like this?

Dont think many on here realize how expensive it will be to retrofit LSU with LEDs

I would be happy if they would just fix the sound system... Sounds like a 72 Cadillac hooptee about to fall apart at a redlight.

Why do we focus on stuff that is not related to performance on the field?

Stop already. This lobbying for the LED light companies has gotten out of control.

You know it's a successful year on the field when all the trolls have to gripe about after a win are LED lights.

I go to football games to watch football, not eat gourmet meals or look at lights

Just got back from watching Tennessee get splattered in Willy B. The lights are a fantastic way to engineer a hostile environment. It also keeps the crowd engaged.

We should have an LED light drone swarm showing a huge Tiger walking across the sky.

Would rather cold water on those really hot days. Maybe some hot chocolate or coffee on those really cold nights.

How about we get a working sound system that doesn’t screech feedback anytime a ref tries to announce a call. That shite hasn’t worked for decades.

So you want to copy and follow the herd further away from the essence of college football? Pumped in pop music and fireworks weren't enough, now you need your light show. Monkey see, monkey do.

Doesn’t bother me either way, but I think the money could be better spent in other upgrades.

Was at the Ucla game and the lights at the end of the third quarter were the only good thing that happened during the Rose Bowl game. Probably necessary in California to keep that crowd entertained. Was in alabama for LSU beat down in 2019 and have to say that the light show there and the way they used them was a home field advantage. Seemed like they kept the game lights off and red lights on until nearly the ball snapped when we were on offense. Pissed me off honestly and the game did change some when it got dark and the lights started. We are missing an advantage if used like alabama does. I’ve come to realize it’s more than mere entertainment.
