I had a 95 Sentra that got almost 40 miles a gallon on the Hwy. My wife had a 93 Saturn that got 34 ish. I don’t understand how cars got less fuel efficient and starting requiring hybrids to get serious mpg.

Hybrids are great. Only fill mine up once a month, and I can still take long trips without worry.
