A pretty insignificant drop in revenue during the Trump tax cut years.

The government could use some auditing and budget cuts.

There is a stat that at least 1/2 of Americans don't have 1K in the bank for an emergency. Also keep in mind that the the Destroys just attended a conference on the idea for a universal basic income. The tipping point has been reached. USA got a little over 200 years before the implosion.

Inflation = demand out-paces supply, drives prices up

Reduce inflation = lower demand and/or increase supply

New stimulus checks = HIGHER demand

Exacerbating inflation

Gov't should be required to have Economics 2001/2002

Absurd

It’s already happening with higher SS checks and welfare. The rest of us working people just have to buy less stuff to stay afloat, while everyone else just gets a bigger government check.

I think the response to this could be that Biden should take the billions sent to Ukraine biweekly, and send it to the people.

It is crazy because it is to camouflage bad policies and his war on energy.

I refuse to believe that’s an accurate number. They could’ve told me 52 and maybe I could’ve seen that but 62 is criminally high.

Polls have fallen prey to political persuasion like everything else.

You can get a "scientific" poll from another source and it would be different, depending on their bias.

It doesn’t really surprise me. As others have said, Econ 101 is not exactly a common course found on many Americans’ high school or college transcripts. And “Send me money” will always beat out “Don’t send me money.”

Micro and macro were GER's when I went.

I took Econ 101 in high school. But the teacher didn’t do a really good job.

Because I was Biology and technically pre-med track in college, I took Health Care/Medical Economics, and that professor was really good about explaining concepts of scarcity, demand, and economic pathologies like the government pumping more money towards scarce resources.

took it in college. Civics and Free Enterprise were required in HS, I believe.

Wouldn't that just further inflate inflation?
