The majority of Americans back new stimulus checks to fight inflation.
The book “Democracy: The God that Failed” explains why this is the case.

This is why I think we need a test, and maybe stricter requirements, to be allowed to vote in this country. Too many idiots that either don't understand the consequences of what they are voting for or don't care so long as they keep getting checks from the government.

It's all fricked anyway, fire up the printers because it literally doesn't matter anymore.

Keep the money flowing! Sooner or later it will cost $200 for a gallon of milk.
Glad I'm lactose intolerant...
The real result of handing out thousands of dollars per household will once again be the sky-rocketing sale of custom rims and big screen TV's. Why spend it on food when they're about to double the EBT cards?

Lots of hands out. It’s the end of times as we know it.

If things go as expected Tuesday no need to worry about anything getting done in Washington the next two years except for Republican agendas correct?

I’ve never known a single person who’s been questioned for one of these so called polls. Total bs.

That comes out to polling 30 people in each state. And we’re supposed to believe this? Please.
Some people just see the headline and take it at face value.

used to think that Americans, if presented fair and accurate information on what this govt spending does, would be against more spending.
But now I doubt it. People will happily trade gratification today for pain tomorrow and the next day, and the next day…
Yes. We have a high time preference society and it's getting higher by the day.
Inevitable collapse.

Because of what you said earlier. Universal suffrage.
Tie voting rights to net taxes paid. If you're not a net payer, you don't get to vote.

Hoppe was right.
And once you finish this one, check out Mises' Socialism, and Hoppe's "what must be done"
Most of these can be found at Mises.org
Rothbard's Anatomy of the State is a 50pg read, and is free electronically through the mises institute.
For an easy, plain language Econ read, Hazlitt's Economics in One Lesson is excellent.
