Old coffee maker is on its last leg. Not looking to drop much on a new one and really don't need all the bells and whistles, like a grinder or expresso maker mode. Just make coffee and shut itself off after a couple of hours.
It's all a factor of temperature, right?

The cheap Mr Coffee models have served me well as well as our office for decades.

Same for the price, it is hard to beat the drip style coffee makers. It won't make the same cup that some of the fancy machines, but it is good enough.

Anything is better than the shite coffee those Keurig and pod machines make

I use a bunn commercial coffee maker but the home owner ones at walmart are great. I have a spare one from walmart that I take on vacation.

Couple years ago on vacation at a villa in Costa Rica. They had a Jura coffee maker filled with Costa Rican coffee beans. It would grind the beans and make one cup at a time. Best coffee I’ve ever had. I’m like, “I’m getting one of these coffee makers!” I look it up on the web, $2999. Okay, pump the brakes bro, I don’t like it that much.

A friend of mine who is a foreigner served me an espresso from his Nespresso machine and I got to say..those foreigners are on to something.

So I'm going to recommend the exact opposite of what you asked and say that you should buy a Nespresso machine because I'll be damned if that wasn't the best cup of coffee I ever had.
