re: Crown moulding install rec in Baton Rouge area - PSU2LSU
If you done it once then do it again. I found it easiest to install cleats along the wall before installing the crown molding. I learned it on "this old house" That way you aren't searching for the studs to nail the crown to. Also you really need two people to install crown molding. Prefarbly so...

re: What kind of refrigerator do you own? Looking for recommendations. - PSU2LSU
I have The GE with dual ice makers. One in the door and one in the bottom freezer compartment. Great when you want to fill up a smaller cooler full of ice. Two problems with my GE. If you get any condensation on the rubber gasket on the door with the ice maker then it causes a poor seal and ...

re: Transitioning tile to tile with 1/2" height difference - PSU2LSU
I've used a Schulter tranistion piece when the floors didn't match up. They have some that slope 1/2 inch. The problem with building up thinset to match the 1/2 inch height difference is that thinset isn't designed for that. You can probably get away with 1/2 inch but you run the risk of the t...

re: Suggest a fairly cheap ShopVac for my garage - PSU2LSU
[quote]Lowe’s = Kobalt Home Depot = Ridgid Which reminds me of when a distant relative who likes to hear himself talk was rambling on about tools and told me to go to the Home Depot and get a Kobalt something or other. How he had not picked up on the store brands, especially how one is blue and ...

re: Does anyone have a commercial grade toilet in their home? - PSU2LSU
I have the american standard vormax and a toto in our house. The vormax is by far the best toilet I've ever owned. Toto makes a version of this and I believe they came up with the design, but were 2x as expensive. ...

re: Suggest a fairly cheap ShopVac for my garage - PSU2LSU
If you have a Home depot near you get their brand. If you have a lowes near you then get their brand (shop vac?) The filters can get pricey if you have to get a ridgid compatible one at lowe's and vice versa. ...

re: Pennsylvania swing counties to start on mail in ballots after election - PSU2LSU
Cumberland County should be reliably red. Across the river is the dem stronghold in Harrisburg. The west shore which compromises cumberland county is republican. Cumberland county is mostly rural and it also has the army war college located within its boundary. ...

re: Lumber prices? - PSU2LSU
I bought a 12X14 cedar gazebo from costco for $1600 this past summer. Fairly easy to put together. Cedar sides and an aluminum roof. You got to put down some sort of floor but that can give you a roundabout costs. You can get two smaller ones and but them against each other. ...

re: I need a recommendation for a Miter Saw - PSU2LSU
I have the Dewalt and the Ridgid sliding compound miter saws. I prefer the Ridgid because it cuts smoother. The Dewalt is jumpy probably because it has more power. But either is fine and I would probably get the cheaper of the two. The miter stand is a must....

re: 5 yr Old Generator Never Been Used - Anything I Need to Check? - PSU2LSU
I did the same thing. Ordered a generator next day air from amazon as Hurricane Isaac (2012) was bearing down on Baton Rouge. It got delayed in NOLA so I didn't get it till after the hurricane passed over. So I stuck it in the garage boxed up till the floods in 2016. Opened it up filled with oil...

re: Car Jack for Toyota Rav 4, help - PSU2LSU
Just go pick up a trolley jack from walmart. I saw the other day they had a kit with the trolley jack and jack stands. If you are worried about space then just go to harbor freight and grab a Hydraulic Jack. I keep a small piece of plywood and a hydraulic jack along with some jackstand in the too...
