I have the same Ninja. I like it and it gets a lot of use. Bunn does make some nice ones as well.

I also use a toddy for cold brew. I have a coffee problem.

Anything is better than the shite coffee those Keurig and pod machines make

Mine makes bodacious coffee, but I pack my pods right before brewing.

It is basically these, with a small paper filter.

I bought one last year...problem is that the coffee smelled/tasted like rubber. I ran water through it about a dozen times but the smell persists...have had it stowed away in a cabinet since then. Been using the damn Keurig

And Keurig tastes like plastic to me....

I like the Jura for a single cup or my grandmother's old percolator for a whole pot.

Old coffee maker is on its last leg. Not looking to drop much on a new one and really don't need all the bells and whistles, like a grinder or expresso maker mode. Just make coffee and shut itself off after a couple of hours.
It's all a factor of temperature, right?

Bunn coffee makers are the drip coffee gold standard. This is because they brew at less than boiling temp and hence make a smoother less acid coffee product.

A yr or 2 ago my wife and I were in the same boat you are. Did a little basic research and found that the Hamilton Beach brand also brews at below boiling temp. There are only a couple brands that brew like this. We tried a Keurig and it was not good. Been pretty happy with the HB.

We have this one, and it will no shite brew a pot of coffee in about 40 seconds. I wish the filter/coffee basket was attached/hinged in some way, and I wish it had an insulated stainless carafe. Would be the perfect coffee maker.

I have that exact same Bunn at home as well. I wish I would have spent a little more and got one that you can have a water line connected to. As far as an insulated stainless carafe, you can probably order one that fits exactly for it.

I use a bunn commercial coffee maker but the home owner ones at walmart are great. I have a spare one from walmart that I take on vacation.

I’ve always heard that if you want coffee that taste like it came from a diner; you should get a Bunn. Any truth to this?

Mine, too, but I have the keurig that makes the whole pot and the pods. I rarely use the pods, though.

have had this model of Moccamaster for about 15 years. These are well made and last forever. I just had a cup from the carafe from this morning's coffee. Moccamaster by Technivorm

My wife’s people are big fans of these. I’ll probably convert soon.

I’ve been at this for years and tried them all. This is the only thing for me that makes good coffee.

I haven’t tried it, but before coffee makers were a thing. I heard that some people in South Louisiana would fill a sock with coffee grinds and boil it on the stove.

Incoming TikTok video with a Cajun YouTuber, the coonass way to make coffee.
