The SEC will evaluate strike zone calls using Trackman technology this season and will make it available immediately after games in the umpires dressing room. Birmingham will grade the homeplate umpires and, hopefully improve the ball/strike calls during games.
Interesting. Thanks for the info. Good info for betting purposes

I didn't count heads, it is just an estimate before the scrimmage started.

With the number of quality arms showing off 94+ today just keep in mind the following flame throwers haven’t even taken the bump yet.
Floyd
Little
Hurd
Noot
Shores
Money
All will touch 95+

Skenes did not take batting practice or an AB during the scrimmage.

Dude I’m not trolling, but was Money a 95+ guy last season?

I think he said something yesterday about trying to hit and pitch in the same day when he was at Air Force and how tough it was. I’d assume he’ll hit today and Sunday and just not ever hit on days he’s pitching. Good sign that he’ll be a weekend starter.

I've said before with the depth of the roster the days that Skenes pitches he should just worry about pitching. Wondering if him not taking any ABs yesterday shows that they have that same idea. I'd expect him to get some ABs as a DH and probably some time at 1B today and Sunday. Unless they don't plan to work him in the field at all.
Boosie beat me to it.

He touched 94 in games several times. To not expect him to hit 95 with another year of development would be surprising to me.

They need defense at catcher
Neal offense was surprising first game
Good to hear about balls and strikes
I just want consistency in the college game
Had no idea moffett threw that hard
Little should benefit from a fresh start
Little skenes nippolt Guidry and moffett we’re at coaches committee
Some big dudes on the mound

--- interesting move here. Hopefully our infield isn't as bad as last year and we don't need Hercules to do his thing at 1B anymore.
the lineup looks great!
