Super Bowl loser hangover.
It happens.
It happens.

Dude was sacked 51x last year. On track for 111 this year. Hard to blame Burrow for much when he’s on his arse that much

They only won 10 games last year. It’s not like they were some juggernaut. They got hot in the playoffs; it happens.

No, their revamped OL is trash.
Looked way better last year

Their coach should have never been above a offensive coordinator

people forget they were 10-7 last year.

Zac Taylor has no clue how to help the OL in pass protection. The running backs never help on the edge.
Burrow has been sacked 13 times in two weeks. I’m sure he’s held on a little long on a couple of them, but he has zero time to see the field and find open receivers. They led the NFL in passes over 20+ yards last year, and they have none in 2 games this year. Why do they have none, because Burrow has zero time at all to view the field. Watch the games and see how someone is in his pocket every time he releases the ball.
And the running game is nonexistent.

They definitely punched above their weight class last year, but that playoff experience is huge. It's not that they've started out 0-2, it's how they've done it. Yes, they should've won without the blocked PAT, but they should've won without 5 turnovers and a shite ton of sacks vs a meh Steelers team. Similar story with the hapless, backup QB starting cowboys. They don't have to be world beaters, but their expectations are much higher than what they've done so far.

Zac Taylor’s play calling is hysterically bad
He’s from the Nebraska lineage like Scott Frost. They don’t make good coaches in 2022

They are the Bengals. They will be back in the Super Bowl in 2053. And lose.

They didn't really look that great last year until the end of the year. They massively over achieved towards the end of the year and the playoffs. This is more in line with who they are.
People just assumed it would carry over from last year but that is not always the case in the NFL
Sustaining success is very hard

Their OL is worse than last season.
Burrow has been sacked 13x in the first 2 weeks.

Worst part is they have played two bad teams so far. They haven’t even faced the top teams yet.
No running game, no pass protection, and today the defense let Cooper Rush carve them up.

So? A loss is a loss. The Bengals lost that game.
Posted on 9/18/22 at 7:14 pm to CatsGoneWild
I was at the game. Burrow has no time. Their Oline was completely outmatched.

He also holds the ball too long

The Browns have owned the Bengals in recent years, so that certainly wasn't an auto win if their starters played.
