I know their OL is bad but how has Collins played?

Yes, they're struggling, but they're only a game back in the division. Plenty of time to turn it around. The Oline, however, is a massive disappointment. Joe won't make it thru the year getting hit like this.

It was almost criminal how they didn’t adjust to Parsons eating every player on the OL’s lunch until midway through the 3rd quarter. No help from a TE or chip from a rRB and kept running long developing routes. It was like they were trying to make a struggling OL rise to the occasion or something.
Seriously, watching him rush completely unblocked at times was baffling. Dude was teeing off on Burrow every play, is one of the best pash rushers in the league, and sometimes wasn't even accounted for. That said, their entire line was getting pushed back almost every play, and there was rarely even a pocket for Burrow to step up into

Many dumb posts in this thread.
Starting with West Coast Ag.
Burrow threw 5 different game winning passes in the Steelers game and Cincy still lost.
Joe isn’t the problem. No, he’s not quite Mahomes or Allen or Brady or Rodgers, but he’s damn good, and the combination of playcalling and that o line makes it very difficult to be consistent on offense.
People are also dismissing that he missed most of camp due to an appendix rupture that resulted in him losing 20 pounds right before the season. That’s likely why he looked like shite for a half against Pittsburgh.
More Sports Board on Tigerdroppings might have the dumbest, most perspective lacking posters in the entire world. Congrats.

A half way decent QB beats the cowboys yesterday.
Burrow’s best days are behind him.

He’s 25 man and it’s year 2.5 for him in the NFL. And he still hasn’t had a normal offseason.
And it’s clear you didn’t watch the game at all. Or if you did, you were hammered. The O line literally wasn’t blocking Parsons on certain plays or they were trying to dial up deep shots while a backup tight end went 1 on 1 with a rush end.
That’s not Burrow. That’s coaching, scheme, communication, etc. But whatever. You aren’t worth addressing directly anymore as your football knowledge and lack of perspective is clearly lacking.

I’m a cowboys fan. I watched the full game. Burrow holds the ball for wayyy too long. That’s not on the OL. He has developed the yips. Will be lucky to win 7 games this year.

Thankfully we have stat that help us when our eyes deceive us, and it’s simply untrue to say Burrow holds it too long.

Can’t take anything you say seriously when just yesterday, you predicted Joe Burrow would be one of the biggest busts of all time. Dude made a Super Bowl in year 2, in Cincy, and would’ve won it with .5 more seconds of a block on the last play.
Dude could retire tomorrow and he’s not a bust.

They punted the ball with a minute to go in OT during week 1 but could have drained another 15 seconds off the clock. My Steelers, the greatest team of all time by the way, had no time outs.

A few things to note:
The 1st month of the NFL season is now effectively training camp when compared to the old days - not only don't the starters actually play (and the coaches never show the real playbook) but there are no full contact practices anymore.
Joe Burrow being physically able to do essentially nothing for 2 months is probably at least somewhat relevant.
The division is bad - nobody is 2-0.
Look for the Bengals to get it together and contend for the playoffs.

Did the Bengals win 7 games as predicted?
Did Burrow throw 34 interceptions as predicted?
I admit my mistakes in this thread.
1) the cowboys, even with Cooper Rush are formidable
2) the Steelers, when TJ Watt played, were pretty good
