This is the racism of the Left. If you do not fit into one of their neatly sorted categories, then you are an aberration or a traitor. We saw this in 2016 when (European) Latinos voted in high numbers for Trump. The Left immediately responded with saying that white Cubans and non-indigenous Mexicans should no longer be counted as minorities or even Latinos. Its the same crap they pull with blacks (that "act white") and Asians (assumed high academics). I've seen first hand how damaging this can be to young students (I teach middle school).

A black woman with a college degree expects to date a male with a college degree as well. The point the woman was trying to make, albeit in a somewhat racist way, was that if she wants to date black men (who are among the lowest groups percentage wise to graduate college) and is then also having to compete with white or asian women for that small dating pool where she lives it greatly reduces her chances of finding an appealing match.

Sounds like the problem she has is making herself appealing to her target demographic.
If a resource is in demand (college educated black men), they have the power to pick and choose what they want.
If a resource has supply that outstrips demand (college educated black women), they may have to lower their standards.
