I think it is worth it to make an offer. What about CJ McCollum, Dyson, Hayes, and perhaps future picks?

You got nothing but downvotes but I'd do this everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. I love CJ. He has been everything we've needed and more, but I would probably get over it pretty quick once I saw Durant step on the court in a Pels uni.

The Brooklyn Nets want "at least two All-Stars" in exchange for Kevin Durant, per Stephen A. Smith

What team has 2 All Stars to spare that's not already a contender?

The more this goes the less likely I feel like KD actually gets traded.

It'll take 3-4 teams getting involved and that's just far too complicated.

Either Woj or Windbag said that Phoenix or Miami are KD's preferred destinations with combo's of stars being up for possible trade bait: Booker/Ayton or Butler/Herro

I would not trade two all stars for a one year rental with a bad attitude to expose to our young team.

Durant doing this the day that FA starts, after so many teams already moved around a bunch of players and picks means he either wanted to force a very specific result or he is fricking clueless.

I think the idea is to try and move the KD and Kyrie show elsewhere but about the only teams capable of doing that are the Lakers and Knicks. And only one of those have anything resembling assets IMHO, as AD is of questionable value, Westbrook is of negative value, and no Laker pick can be moved before 26/27 (depending on the Pels’ deferral choice).

I’m wondering if he’s played himself here.

So would Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green qualify under these terms set forth by Stephen A Smith?

I don’t think so. With the picks that they owe Houston I’m guessing they want to be good enough to still be a playoff team.

Draftkings still has Durant -200 going to the Suns and +700 to the Nets.

What if the happy medium on a Suns Nets deal is

Ayton and Mikal for Durant

instead of Ayton and BS Filler for Durant - Suns Wish

or Booker for Durant. - Nets Wish

Ayton and Mikal are both Quasi all star level players with upside. From PHX point of view they were already going to lose Ayton. So the only thing unexpected they would be losing is Bridges. From the Nets point of view, Ayton and Mikal are both winning players they can build around.

Durant hasn't contended for a championship in three years.

Odds are he will never make the finals again.

Build around BI and Zion for the next 10 years or KD for 2.

Denver.
if Brooklyn sees MPJ as an all-star caliber player.
MPJ/Murray and some picks would be a great haul for KD, and a Jokic Durant pairing would do some damage.

I mean hell the Nets would actually be a really good team after that with a Kyrie that actually plays, Murray, Simmons, MPJ.

They where 10 games below 500.

They were slightly above .500 with BI and CJ. Adding Zion to that along with the growth of our young players and they are at minimum a 50 win team.

Depending on how they view Ayton and Bridges (who aren't technically All-stars, but could be viewed at that level), they could find a complicated way to make that work.

Murray nor MPJ could go to Nets unless Simmons is shipped out, can’t have two rookie scale extension players traded on one team

Yep

Over the last 5 months of the season the Pels were 35-34 without their best player, with BI missing about 20 games, and CJ not playing in over half of those games.

WTF!?

I would be way beyond pissed if we did that. We are a young team with a solid core. Sure, KD would be great to pair with Zion but so would a guy who can guard 1-4 like Herb and a guy who gets better every year like Ingram who is 10 years younger than KD.

nets would be hard capped and they are already over the apron. Irving would have to go out for nothing (ie, not Westbrook)
