5 gate changes and two delays later, I’m still not convinced this fight will leave on time. The latest gate change and delay was announced right when we were to board from the first delay. This airline is fricking shite. Rant over and csb.

Yea they tried to screw us in Key West. Overbooked the flight by 19 seats and started plucking people to take the next flight out, which was in 2 days. When I say there were some pissed off people, I mean they were furious. Like security getting involved

Yes, 6 months or so ago, they cancelled my flight late at night, didn't provide any stipend for a hotel/food, and then further delayed the flight the next morning when we had already boarded (so just sat on the plane).
And they showed little remorse, of course.

Where are you? FAA has been understaffed for weeks along the East Coast, and airlines have been facing delays and cancellations outside of their control.
You are getting screwed regardless, but it might not be AA’s fault. However, they should just go ahead and notify you that the flight has 99% chance of getting canceled.

My family member went to desk to check luggage. AA guy behind desk wouldn’t acknowledge them. Waited about ten minutes. Guy ask what they needed and said I’m checked in I just need to check this bag. He says it would be faster if they used kiosk. Tried. Didn’t work. Went back to desk and waited. Explained kiosk not working. Said to try kiosk again. Didn’t work. Went back to desk. Guy asked what flight they were on. They said well your flight is boarding in less than 45 minutes it’s to late to check bag. If the person would have not been lazy and did when first asked it would have been more than hour before. They had to stuff all cloths in their carry on and travel companions bag.
This is a little airport and this person is a very frequent Flyer. This instance was the final straw and their whole company is now only using delta even if it costs more.

I live in Dallas and have to fly them most the time so I feel your pain. But I knew them last week and it was good.
