If you break this down body language analysis wise.
Griffin seems to be running point on this conversation and definitely seems to be the one with the most interest.
Langdon has his hand over his face like he is skeptical and his chair pushed back ready to make a quick exit.
Willie Green is looking at his plate hoping more food will magically reappear so he can occupy his mind and thoughts about something else other than having another nonspacer on the floor.
If Sochan ends up being the pick. I can confidently ascertain that Griff is the one ultimately making the final call/decision.

We don't know that, but it sounds like Chet is playing that game for OKC. If they got in Sharpe's ear too, making teams like the Pels reluctant to draft him makes it more likely we'll trade with them.

Yeah too much frickery with him it seems. As for the long held belief by some that Cal's plan was for him to sit this season:

Honestly Chet obviously makes a ton of sense to OKC but Sharpe cancelling on us for OKC makes zero sense(if that’s even true). Where’s he gonna play? Giddey, SGA, and hell even Mann was solid for them. If this is true, he’s kind of dumb for this.

Jake Fisher said 8 might be the starting point for Sharpe. Sure there's a ton of misinformation out there right now, but Sharpe falling out of the top 7 fits the facts we have a lot more than him getting a promise from a top 7 team.
He's obviously not going top 3. Sac wouldn't promise him, Detroit has been all over the place, from exploring trades to all the Mathurin smoke. Doesn't seem like they would be making a promise and then have all of those other rumors attached to them. Indy? Maybe. Portland wouldn't go after Sharpe either but could be involved in a potential trade up for him.

He did mention on the Russillo pod that he has Sochan above Daniels, but he said he had Mathurin at 5. Now, things can obviously change by the day, but that pod was released on Thursday.
