What's a cheap item that you've gotten a lot of use out of?

My bedside digital alarm clock just went out. I bought it for my dorm in 2006. It's been plugged in pretty much constantly. Not a bad run for $5.

I have a water resistant Bluetooth speaker that I paid $15 for 5 or 6 years ago that I have put through the ringer. Poolside, canoe trips, beach, etc., and it still works flawlessly. I think it’s an Altec Lansing brand. Sound could be better but great for what I use it for.

about a decade ago I got a little Coleman LSU cooler w toonces on it. During apt living it made countless trips to the pool, now has gone on every fishing trip...thing is now a different shade of purple and I've had to WD-40 the zipper, but I refuse to retire it.

One Christmas, my aunt gave me a cheap nose hair trimmer. Like one from the dollar store. I could tell it was cheap and flimsy, and I figured it would break within a month.

That thing has been going strong for 10 years now. Not even sure if I've ever changed the batteries in it.

My toaster died in 2016 and I bought a cheap $8 hamilton beach one from Walmart until I researched a better one. I’m still using that one to this day.

I bought a cheap $15 fan that blows solely on my nuts while watching TV. Best investment ever.

It took two pages for somebody to say Fleshlight. The OT really is getting old.
