I was only a baby. I know most say he is the best LSU has ever produced. But how much better was he than crews? Crews is the best i have ever seen, even with the dead bats.

ETA: Met the guy in person multiple times. Really nice guy.

Crews is the best non-pitching baseball prospect that LSU has ever had.

It's a joke that he has to go back to college for another year.

Todd was like butter. He was a great hitter, fielder and honored the jersey off the field. When a ball was hit to him, he made the correct play, every time.

Walker had the sweetest swing I can remember ever seeing at LSU. His homers were majestic.

Bregman is not even in the same stratosphere as Walker and Crews.

Bergman can enter the thread if he wants. Doesn’t matter. he wasn’t the player Crews is.

Walker put up numbers all season and in big post season situations. Crews is on that level talent wise.

Yeah Crews is just flat out better than Bregman (LSU career only).

Funny, because I like Walker more than Crews. For my money he was the GOAT. But hey, you are the expert.I think Bregman is in the discussion. He was special.

I saw Walker play. He was a great player and led us to a National championship. If you want to put Crews right up there with him you will get no argument from me.

Crews is probably the best all around talent but Walker’s numbers are ridiculous.

That clown a couple weeks ago said Crews doesn’t even deserve to be mentioned with Aaron Hill

Hard to pick one or the other. Both are great players but Crews is fun to watch right now that’s all that matters.

Crews is straight up in Walker company. And like you said Todd had the sweetest swing. Amazing how good Crews is.

5-tool player.

Smoothest swing ever. Only one close was Furness.

He was my favorite player growing up. I remember going to the 93 Regional. It just seemed like he squared up everything.

I remember Walker and CO batting around TWICE on GA tech in regionals. Scored 17 runs in the bottom of that inning. The GA tech skipper got so pissed he walked out to the mound after about tge 4th pitching change and started kicking the mound with reckless abandon.

Walker had been gone for two years, and it was 18 runs.
