10 people were killed. Sounds like no death penalty in NY though

Yeah. I’d say murder is about as hateful as it gets.

But it’s just a term to appease the crazy lefties. It only applies one way though. Crimes against whites are not hateful

Hate crime is only applicable if the perp is white.

Just a law on the books that they passed so they could selectively enforce it against a certain race of people.

Been on the books for years. Hope this realization will wake people up to the long term game they have been playing and winning for a very long time.

If New York does not have the death penalty, he will be prosecuted under the Federal murder charge which being a hate crime opens the option of the death penalty at the federal level. But I'm no lawyer. Just like to stay at a certain hotel chain.

Politics. White bastards commit hate crimes. Black guys shoot up Chicago, New Orleans, etc, run down people with intent at Christmas parades, and get a hardy hand shake and a 100 dollar bill for their vote.

It add a Thought Crime to it.

The act is still the same, but what you were THINKING is also a crime.

This way, we can decouple the violent part of the crime from the thought part, and be left with a separate thought only crime in the near future.

1. It automatically increases the severity of the sentence if convicted.

2. It can be prosecuted in federal court as well as state court.

3. Federal courts can sentence him to death since he committed murder in the process of committing another felony with hate crime being the other felony.

Not saying that it will be prosecuted on the federal level or he will get the death penalty, but charging him with and likely convicting him with puts the death penalty on the table in a state that doesn't have a death penalty.

It’s horrible situations either way but I think Proper Thought dictates if this Buffalo wack-job had not been a hateful white racist, these people wouldn’t have died whereas in Chicago, Milwaukee, Baltimore, etc. all those people who die every week …….. well, shite happens. But at least those people didn’t/won’t die due to racism.

I believe that’s what Proper Thought teaches.

It adds a way to further fan the flames to divide this country.

There isn't. Yet in Texas he would most certainly be facing the death penalty. After all we put two (out of three) to death for James Byrd Jr.'s murder, yet we're supposedly the racists here in Texas.

It seems to depend on who the DA is in your city.

Pretty easy to understand. Whitey kills someone= hate crime. Whitey killed by POC= love crime.

It adds a First Amendment violation by definition. Hate crimes are per se unconstitutional.
