Blew a bearing and lost my hub and tyre somewhere in the swamp right before leplace. Said frickity frick this, I've got a hotel and im going fishing. Jacked that axle up, slapped a strap around it and heading to grand isle. I'ma drive the wheels of this bitch. Towing is a $100 deductible no matter what hahaha!

Still on the water, so far I have 6 trout over 20" in the boat.

All this time you have been wasting money on buying that 4th tire

I have jacked up an axle to limp a trailer somewhere before... but I TOOK THE LOAD OFF first.

I am not judging, I am just a little more cautious than some. I also carry a spare hub along with my spare tyre.

too bad they dont have road rescue service to come swap out axles on trailers because it often happens and it would be worth any price to many people

I have trip interruption insurance. They will do ANYTHING to get my boat to my destination in a timely manner or get me a boat to go on at my destination. Most often they just put your trailer on another trailer and tow it to your destination. Once they get your boat off they take your trailer and get it fixed and bring it back to you. I have run across a couple instances they paid for guide services when things were more dire.

I need to know more about this insurance and who it’s through. I’m about at the end of the rope with my current insurance carrier after all the repeated denials on claims (after not making any for 30 years of paying premiums)

That boat pic reminds me of the last time I was headed home from StFrancis hospital in Monroe.

Right at the top of the entrance ramp to I-20 a trooper comes back down the ramp the wrong way. He had a blue peddle paddle boat on a chain dragging it off the interstate with traffic backed up a mile or more.

Someone lost a nice little one man pond/bayou bass rig. Probably got more expensive too as the troopers trying to clear the scene were not happy.

Yeah, he's British.....

They keep the spare tyre in the boot and the engine is under the bonnet and fueled with petrol. They pick up their prescription Meds at the chemists then go home and take the lift to the upper floors where their flat is located.

Go inside and have a pint and a f-ag (frick you censors) to take the edge off the day and relax to watch a little footie on the tellie.

Odds are if that one had no grease none of the others do either

It's encased in grease. Used boat, only like the 4th trip. 18yr old trailer, no idea if it was the original bearings 18 years ago.

It’s a really good question. I wouldn’t even know where to start.

I guess get a crane with a spreader bar and straps?

Maybe you could push the trailer against it and unhook the tongue. Maybe tilt the trailer from the front and try to winch it on. Just a thought. Not sure it would actually work. Alot of forklifts in that area for crab fisherman etc.
