Isn't he the one that cast the deciding vote on Obama Care?

Doesn't make sense. He could simply join the majority, assign himself the opinion, and narrowly rewrite it to allow the 15 week cutoff.

Kicks the can down the road but he can worry about other cases later.

I don't know much about the inner workings of judicial panels and all that crap but are other judges allowed to try to influence other judges or are decisions supposed to be reached individually?

Devil's advocate here for a moment. Not necessarily how I stand. However, what's a bigger embarrassment; upholding "settled law" that has been in place for 50 years, as in upholding the Dobbs v. Jackson Abortion slaughter house but not totally reversing RvW. I mean how do you sit on a decision for 50 years with dozens of Supreme Court justices if this court rules that it was a gymnastic boondoggle when RvW was first passed. I mean how many people have looked at it and said, "nah - not tackling that career killer".
I mean doesn't that kind put in question the integrity of the court for the last 50 years if even a second year law student knows there is no right to privacy to allow abortions found anywhere in the constitution.
