Will Smith

... could be the worst actor over the last 50 years.

I'd put Ray Liotta a close 2nd.

Steven Segal is probably the worst main stream actor I've ever seen.

But who are some that are legitimately bad at acting?

Have you been watching Amber Heard on the stand? That is some of the worst acting that I have ever seen.

Or Robert Pattinson. He was horrendous in Twilight. But Twilight in general was horrendous. But you put him in. . .The Batman, and you're like, holy crap, this dude is a fantastic actor.

Wut???? You and I must have watched completely different movies called the Batman.

LaBeouf and Drew Barrymore as adults.

I got to disagree with LaBeouf. He was really good in Honey Boy and Peanut Butter Falcon, and decent in Fury. He has come along way.

He really is terrible. No subtlety whatsoever (at least we don't have to worry about him being in anything new). Steven Segal is better. Amber Heard is terrible as are all of the kids on Modern Family. I guess that's the difficulty with casting children. They can grow up to be ugly hams.

He is in that new Andrew Garfield Mormon murder mystery series. I had to do a double-take when he popped on screen.

Which has actually been good so far two episodes in, but I like Garfield a lot.

Elizabeth Mitchell was awesome in Lost.

Patricia Arquette. I don’t know how that woman has an Oscar.

Jamie Foxx. He just annoys me.

Seth Rogen.

Amy Schumer.

I think he was a good Batman. His Bruce Wayne will improve, but he was the way he was for a reason. They weren't making him a playboy yet. He was good as Batman, which was most important. But either way, I can see someone not liking him in it, but I liked him quite a bit. But, there are other movies as well that he's been really good in, better than Batman. I guess my point was mainly more of "yes he was bad in a blockbuster movie but he is much better now."

I remember him from The Pretender, mainly, and he was good in that (although it was a limited role). I haven't seen the second Sicario, yet.

The clips of his bad acting are mainly Burn Notice and it does seem he is either miscast, phoning it in and/or poorly written/directed in that.

This is likely to be an unpopular opinion. . . but, Tom Cruise. He's chewing the scenery in every role.

The actor who plays Jonah Byrde in Ozark got MUCH worse as he got older. Distractingly bad in the first half of the last season (haven't seen the second half yet)

He's even worse in the second half. I said he's a male Kristen Stewart in the Ozark thread

Agreed. Garfield is the opposite of this thread. He is one of the best in the business.

I liked him as Kyle for the few episodes he played on The Pretender, back in the day.

Remember when Sam Worthington was in everything as they tried to make him a thing?

They did the same thing with Jai Courtney (Boomerang from Suicide squad) for a few years.

I meh on Seth Rogan and I love Jack Black. but in both cases they just play themselves in everything they are in.

Was great as a murderous astronaut in Monk. Basically playing a homicidal version of his Burn Notice character though.
