Around the time of Saul Good man’s introduction, he clearly has never met Walt nor Jesse. So, would expect any Walt/Jesse scenes in BCS to either be minimal or not cross Saul.
BCS spans before and after BB. it was never intended to overlap heavily with BB timeline. although that certainly leaves room for flashbacks to anything during BB. which i am positive will include some WW/pinkman scenes because obvious fan service. but it wont be a whole episode or anything it will be minimal

Yeah
There’s no way he’d believe lalo is dead without a body. Also lalo would never just disappear in Mexico and never seek revenge

I never watched the entire Breaking Bad series, but was recording some of the marathon on TV the last couple of weekends.
Just wanted to say, the episode "Fly" is an hour of my life I wish I could have back. That was one of the worst episodes of any TV show I've ever watched in my life.
What the heck happened there?

I met AP and BC a month or so ago and said it’d be cool if Walter shows up at the end of BCS and he smiled and replied “boy that would be something wouldn’t it?”
Walt confirmed.
Walt confirmed.

It was a bottle episode and one of those things everyone either loves or hates no in between. I personally skipped it on my recent rewatch of the series. But I know some people love it because they claim it’s thought provoking and shows the more human side of the characters.
Also the director of the episode was Rian Johnson (yes the Last Jedi director) who also directed what is regarded as the best episode in the series in Ozymandias.

Yeah, I'm not even sure it was a director issue. More like a script issue.
Very strange, and out of place for the series.
Are there any other "bottle episodes" I should avoid or not bother with?

Just finished watching last episode of Season 5 on Netflix. Can’t wait for season 6. I didn’t start watching BB until the world was shutdown.

Just like last time, I completely forgot just about everything about last season. I need to rewatch.

Plus Kim has to kill him.

Yes. FINALLY!! Can’t wait.
Have there been any hints dropped about how they’re going to handle the Gene timeline? As great as this show is I’m nearly as fascinated with that as I am the prequel. There’s no way it can be wrapped up in just one more season-opening scene is there? I guess they could do a scene for the beginning of part 1 of the season and then another one for part 2.
Personally I wouldn’t mind a full episode dealing with it somewhere along the way.

I am so damn pumped for this. One of the best shows on television.

Yeah, pretty sure we will get more Gene action than a couple 5 minute intros. I could see the final episode being almost entirely about Gene.
Who knows though, I can't wait to find out.

Nah
That’s regarded (by those that hate it of course) as the worst episode in the show. The earlier seasons had some dull episodes with Walt’s family. But the last few seasons were consistently great.

Does anyone still remember what happened last season? Definitely need a re-watch this week.

I thought I read something a year or two ago that at some point in the final season we were going to get a whole lot of gene, whether in the form of a full episode or just more scenes or whatever it was.
I mean logically speakign we have to. Thsi show after all is about Saul, and the biggest question mark regarding Saul's life is what's happened post-breaking bad. We have some snippets of his omaha life but have no idea what he's up to present day, so it stands to reason the show would give us closure on that. Or at least a frickton more info than we currently have.
If I had to guess, based on absolutely nothing whatsoever other than speculation, I'd imagine the last full episode will be entirely gene/present day centric.

Rooting for Lalo to properly avenge his housekeeper this season.

Just finished a S5 rewatch.
Where we leave off:
Spoilers
Jimmy is struggling with being the cartels lawyer after his truck through the desert with Mike and the money after Lalo visits he and Kim at his apartment.
Kim quits her company job and gives up the Mesa Verde gig presumably to focus on her pro Bono clients and work with Jimmy. The two scheme and decide to take down Howard.
Lalo survives the assassination attempt at his compound in Mexico. Nacho (working as a double agent) escapes after letting the would be assassins in the compound. Lalo notices nacho is not among the dead and now knows the truth.
Gus and Lydia set up the hit on Lalo to remove the Salamanca influence in the area so he can continue building his underground lab north of the border.
In the post BB part, Saul calls the vacuum man to make himself disappear again after being made by the can driver. He decides not to start a new identity again and says "I'll handle it myself"

that whole scene was weird. I know it's supposed to be tense for the viewer but that cab driver seemed off. Like he didn't just seem like a fan from back in NM he was talking pretty strangely and he had that guy with him who was silent and jsut stared the whole time. I wonder if there's more to that story than what's on the surfaace
