He was sweating his arse off in that room. Maybe he just went over there to catch some AC...

After a rewatch I think Saul’s lalo slip up is going to be the most consequential thing that happened in the first two episodes - Vince and crew always make their characters pay for slip ups

I loved these two episodes, but that part was silly
I thought the shootout was unnecessary, also.
Upon reflection, I’m not sure that we saw Nacho after this. We saw him ram through, but that was it. Truck had a shot up tire. Not sure how he would have gotten far.
I think it’s possible that the twins got him already. They directed the call to Mike.

Just for clarity... the burnt up person that everyone thought was Lalo.. that was the dude that was shaving right? Lalo killed him and the girl and placed his burnt body at the scene?

Yes. Lalo paid for dental work so the records would match if he ever had to be gone. Curious though what was the relationship with them though.

I was wondering the same thing.

Except that in BB at the vacuum place he asks Ed the Disappearer what’s in Nebraska and Ed says “You”, and then Saul gets a look of disgust on his face.
I think that response has more to do with Saul’s quote to Walt in BB when shite’s hitting the fan:
quote:
If I'm lucky, month from now, best case scenario, I'm managing a Cinnabon in Omaha.
I think the fact that he actually does end up in Omaha, managing a Cinnabon, is just VG having a little fun.

Howard mentored her, paid for her law school, treated her very fairly.
I wouldn’t say Howard was completely fair when he bussed her down to the “corn fields” for things Jimmy did.

Probably. They called him Don something and typically that is what that means - someone really respected. He did walk in like he owned the place too

Typical office politics. He apparently did that to everyone. That's why they called it the corn fields. Why do you think she was so pissed at Jimmy?
She vouched for him, he fricked her, Howard, HHM and the other firm....... She got the typical punishment. You might not like the punishment but it is the very definition of FAIRNESS.

He probably did.
They were a couple that he brought down from the hills (where she got her goats from). He brought them down to have around as a ready body double. They were peasants he was Salamanca. He probably gave him some menial job to keep him busy, but his purpose was to be a body double.
