That nova team with Brunson, divicenzo, spellman, paschal, bridges. Won every game in the tourney by double digits.

95-96 UK,the second 5 of the bench may have been better than the starting 5

Not sure if the best but that 1990 UNLV team was pretty stout

The Duke-Arizona final is 2001 was an incredible collection of talent in hindsight.

I didn't start watching CBB until the early 2000's, so the best team I've ever seen personally was probably the 2004-2005 UNC team or the 2005-2006 Florida team. Both teams had the entire starting lineup drafted in the first round I believe (or at least drafted).
UNC:
Raymond Felton
Rashad McCants
Sean May
Jawad Williams
Marvin Williams
Floria:
Joakim Noah
Al Horford
Corey Brewer
Taurean Green
Lee Humphrey

The 1984-85 St. John's team won the Big East, but didn't win the championship. Villanova did.
Maybe not the best, but the Big East was fun to watch that year. Three final 4 teams.
St. John's had 4 first-round NBA players on that team.
Chris Mullin
Mark Jackson
Bill Winnington
Walter Berry

2009 UNC.
Ty Lawson
Wayne Ellington
Danny Green
Deon Thompson
Tyler Hansbrough
Smoked every team they played in the tournament. LSU in the 2nd round was probably the closest game they played and it ended up being something like a 15 point game.
The final against MSU was over after 5 minutes.

Two ways to answer this question - best team in college or best team that had assembled amazing future NBA talent
The Villanova team mentioned had one of the most impressive runs even in the tournament but doesn't hold up to the NBA talent in some of the 90s-00s champions or even Final Four teams
Baylor last year destroyed everyone
UNC the year LSU gave them a game, 2005 UNC are other good ones

Honestly, 2014-2015 Kentucky. I can't believe that team didn't win it all. On Wisconsin!

I’m 40 and too young to remember the unlv teams, so for me the easy choice is 95-96 Kentucky.
Second best would either be the Duke team that beat Arizona in the final or 2005 North Carolina.
The Duke squad that lost to uconn in 99 was stacked also.
There’s also the 97 unc team led by Jamison and Vince carter. I remember them absolutely toying with Duke that year (up big, let Duke come back, then run away again). From what I recall, they had zero depth and they ran into a red hot Arizona team.
