Just got back from Disney. The mask mandate there for kids is really lax. The only time my 3 year old was asked to put on a mask was to meet Cinderella.

Now, for adults, prepare to be diligently masked up any time you’re indoors. The cast members are pretty relentless with that.

My wife (no pics) really wanted to take our girls this year or next being they are the right ages to still “feel the magic” but be old enough to last the day at the park without being too whiney. But she finally agreed with me the other night that we just don’t want to deal with the bullshite and we don’t want our kids first time at the park muddied with covid bullshite.

Disney people are fricking weird. Saw a grown arse man the other day covered in Mickey Mouse tattoos. It was really, really strange.

Disney can suck it. Not sure why any conservative family would go there.

We were there last weekend for the UDA high school dance national championship. I rarely wore my mask. Never Wore it at the ESPN Wide world of sports. If the ride is fully outside you don’t need a mask. I saw a ton of kids without one on rides too. I think the employees are over it.

Probably because we don’t let politics control our lives.

I actually saw this last time I was in Disney except it was an ice cream cone in the other hand. It was disgusting.

Disney was a very different place this last time in December. It felt like everything is now a microtrasaction. That new CEO is woke AF and only interested in seeing how much money he can get people to pay for stuff before they start pushing back. And they’re very nearly there.

Because conservatives don’t allow hate of the other side consume our lives and only want the best for our children. If it means spending a few thousand dollars for our kids to make priceless memories, then so be it. Family first politics second, baw.

I think that part of WDW is in a county or town that has been quick to mandate masks and slow to back off the mandate.

My experience last year was that they’d yell at you in the shops. For rides, once you got to the indoor part of a line, a cast member would tell you to pull up your mask but then it would get pulled down immediately after walking past the cast member. Masks weren’t enforced in restaurants. You couldn’t get close to characters and they forced you to wear your mask on rides. That sucked because the photos they take of you on rides look ridiculous and they supposedly won’t let you buy one if you are unmasked.

We started a game where we’d make stupid noises or yelling something dumb when we were in line and forced to mask. No one could tell that it was you and it embarrassed the hell out of the kids.

My wife and I are not Disney super fans in any way, shape, or form, but some of you have some fricking stupid Disney takes. If people want to take their kids there, let them. I feel sorry for some of your kids because apparently they’ll never get to experience anything their close minded parents don’t like.
So not dropping 5+ grand for a week long vacation at Disney means they are close minded?

This is a fat, but obesity is a pandemic. We were there two weeks ago taking our five year old daughters, my first time ever. I was surprised to learn they had two types of scooters available for rent in mass. One was the typical scooter we all know about, and there were quite a few of those about with the elderly, crippled, or otherwise injured.

But what I did not know was a thing were the obesity scooters. They were all uniformly Grey in color and extremely large and heavy duty. Almost industrial looking. Built for the obese, and they were EVERYWHERE. I always knew obesity was an issue in America, but I never understood it to be as serious of a pandemic as it is until I went to Disneyworld and saw these scooters and the thousands of people using them.

It was almost literally like a scene out of Wall-E
