Atlanta has several "St George" type city hood efforts that long predate St. George. Including Sandy Springs, which St George has used as a model.

Buckhead would be largely unprecedented because it's truly a split effort (ie, it's part of the city of Atlanta).

If the whole city of Atlanta gets to vote on it there is no way this would ever pass

It needs to, but likely won’t, happen. The thugs here run amok knowing that their shenanigans will go unpunished most of the time. It starts with the urban youths playing in traffic and harassing people in an attempt to sell stolen water bottles (then leave their trash and the fricking cart in the road median after they get done ). Then extends to the constant street racing down Pharr Rd and the break ins everywhere. Places like Hide Kitchen which bring the element need to be razed. There’s a shooting at that place seemingly every month. The APD is severely undermanned and more of a police presence in Buckhead would do wonders.

It's not, Buckhead and Atlanta as a whole is different from "St. George. In that you have a LOT of blacks from all over the country that move here athletes, entertainers, music industry and business people that have ways that aren't fitting to Buckhead yet have the money to live there, shop and dine with the "elite" or whites that don't want the rift raft. It's a VERY interesting place. Ie a waste of time smh get over it.
