Of course it wouldn't be Hollywood without them labeling people that value freedom as fascist, but I've come to expect that stuff now. But I guess in the end they did have Peacemaker make the right choice to give humans the freedom to make our own choices, even though they made sure to say that the libertarian view of freedom is "proto-fascist".
Yep. If he had helped the bugs this would have ruined the entire show. Good thing they weren't that stupid.
Show ended up being fantastic all the way through.

Very solid finale. Was disappointed they did not activate the scabies helmet.

The morons on Reddit ate it up.
Figured they would be pissed that peacemaker killed em all after that spiel

Finally got around to seeing the finale.
Great ending.
Wow. None of y'all even spoiled the JL showing up?
Awesome.
Oops I just did.
Really enjoyed it can't wait for season two.
I lost it when he activated the human torpedo helmet into the cow. I would have been upset had he sided with the body snatchers.

Man John Cena actually killed it. That exchange where he calls the Justice League a bunch of fricking assholes was fricking perfect.

Most fun I’ve had watching a show since Barry. Gunn is a genius.

Finally got to watch last night, avoided this thread all week to avoid spoilers. Wow, what a great episode to cap off a most excellent show. No fluff, just straight-up action and hilarity.
*Spoiler warning*, even though there are several in this thread already.
There was no doubt in my mind Peacemaker was going to refuse the butterfly, what she was saying sounded like a John Kerry speech. Nice twist that she was the one he took care of her in the jar, so knew he was a good person. As mentioned above, the SJW stuff was almost to be expected, but made it extra satisfying when he activated the torpedo helmet at the cow and shot her alien arse in the heart.
If there is any continuation of this, will be interesting if Harcourt and Chris get it on after she gets out of the hospital. She's so freaking hot in this show. I really hope we get more with this lineup, luckily almost all of the main characters survived. Right on to James Gunn, and to all of the actors and producers!

Loved the finale. The potential twist with the Gunn butterfly’s story was perfectly done by Gunn and perfect response from Peacemaker
Feel like this did not set up for a season 2 though. Hopefully they’ll make one anyway, but has a very one and done feel to it unfortunately

I watched the blooper reel. The line about Smith's family having to change their name from "Asshat" to "Smith" had the entire cast losing it. Cena even kept going long after Jennifer Holland lost her shite.

Oh wow, I had no idea Chris Conrad was cast, and shot scenes as vigilante. He’s done great work with with his brother Steve Conrad (the creator) on Patriot and Perpetual Grace. His character New Leaf on Perpetual Grace is just fantastic. Lol. I could absolutely see him playing the role of Vigilante, but the guy that took over was excellent, and probably my favorite character on the show.

Doesn’t really matter a ton, but to clarify, this wasn’t a twist- her being the same butterfly he took care of was a major part of the plot and was shown and he knew exactly who it was (which is why he called her Goff the whole time)

SPOILERS
What is going to happen to Goff? Left alone on earth with no food to survive right? Really stuck the landing on the finale. Very impressive work from Gunn. Now let's hope we get some Weasel for season two.

Fun fact: The actor who plays Vigilante (Freddie Stroma) is BRITISH.
He kept his accent even during the outtakes. No one had any idea he was British until they were done filming.

He was Cormac in Harry Potter.
I didn’t see any resemblance but Wikipedia says it’s the same guy.
