Season 2 is ON

I wonder if we'll get a new dance routine in the opening for season 2 since certain characters (at least for now) appear to be goners.

Economos

i realized this last episode that Economos has saved the day more than anybody else. taking out judomaster escaping, killed the gorilla that was destroying vigilante and peacemaker, and then used that smg to take out all the white supremacists.

i'm sure there's something to him saving the day in an understated way that's going to pop up in the finale.

Wow, I can't imagine that guy as Vigilante. Freddie Stroma is perfect as is Nhut Lee as Judo Master.

Oh I think they'd have to at least tweak it a bit. Would be hard to top this season though.

I'd create a new dance to another song but keep the same vibe and style

solid finale. great music, some growth from everybody, and the Economos confession nobody saw coming.

i'll give it some time for spoilers sake for the "holy hell." moment.

Which “holy hell” moment? I can think of at least two. I assume the walk off scene?

Now we know why James Gunn flat out refused to screen the finale for critics.

Definitely a satisfying finale. This series has been very fun to watch.

I liked how they didn't feel the need to kill off anyone from the team in the finale. They made it seem like two of the team members were dead or dying, but they ended up not killing them off. That is kind of refreshing since the trend for shows nowadays is to try to kill off as many of those type of characters as possible.

Of course it wouldn't be Hollywood without them labeling people that value freedom as fascist, but I've come to expect that stuff now. But I guess in the end they did have Peacemaker make the right choice to give humans the freedom to make our own choices, even though they made sure to say that the libertarian view of freedom is "proto-fascist".

But I really did like everything else about the finale. They tied the season up fairly neatly, and gave us a great cameo to boot. I can't wait for season 2.

What a satisfying show, not one minute is wasted. It checks a lot of boxes: action, comedy, music, drama, tension, sadness. And the interaction at the end? Come on man, I need more already! Economos bringing the feels was unexpected, Adabayo ended up being a great character as well

What a season finale.

Spoilers

I can't imagine many other shows where the good guys win, but rather than killing or arresting the main villain, they end the show sharing a drink on the porch, and somehow that feels right.

Will we finally see the culmination of the "Eagly likes the sound of chip bags/Judomaster always has a chip bag" breadcrumb trail?
Loved the series but this non-resolution left me hungry.
