Has anyone actually watched a Brady coached offense in the pros?

If you have, you would see how his offense has regressed from year 1 to year 2; how third down conversion rate and halftime adjustments have been non existent or anemic; and while his unit has hovered near the bottom on most offensive categories, the defense has made tremendous strides from last year to this year - in spite of being on the field more as a result of the offensive struggles.

Living in the past can be intoxicating, but also a fools errand. The support was there for Brady to succeed in Carolina, he just wasn’t ready.

We finally have a head coach who has an established identity on offense, defense, and special teams. He will hire to fit that identity, not look to relive a past that he was not a part of.

I’m not saying your take isn’t accurate, but some coaches are more fit for the college level.
I saw what Brady did at LSU, so what happened in the NFL doesn’t really change my opinion on him as a college OC.

7 letters...

R-E-S-U-L-T-S

Rest on laurels at your own demise.

Brady was a key factor in 2019 success! He was not nearly the only factor.

Get the best OC out there. Brady is not it.

Has anyone ever noticed that teams with far inferior talent lose more games than they win when playing superior talent? They were 5-7 with the most washed up QB of all time after the most over rated 1st round draft pick of all time was bummed out. Christian McC, who accounts for almost 40% of their offense when he’s healthy has been out. And tell me the name of a wide reciever of theirs you’ve heard of since Kelvin Benjamin!

They don’t want to hear it. They think Joe Brady = Burrow, Jets, Chase and CEH every year.

There defense is good.

Brady is super young at calling plays.

It was a stretch to hire him. That's why i think he would be great paired with someone like brian kelly.

Another thing is the nfl isn't college. He can manipulate college defenses much easier.

How many jobs has Sam Darnold taken from coaches?

What he did in the NFL is incredibly irrelevant to college football. There's a million examples of this, but just look at Saban and failing without a QB.

Also WTF? Sam Darnold, Teddy Bridgewater, Cam Newton? They spent capital but on the wrong people.

I don't know if I even want Brady but you guys are just making up terrible arguments.

There is a direct correlation in the NFL between success and elite QB play. Brady did not have any kind of reasonable QB play.

Nick Saban is a horrible NFL coach, GOAT at CFB.

No reason why Brady cannot have great success in CFB and fail in the NFL.

The problem is he has no star QB. Newton, Bridgewater, and now Darnold. Look at Sean Payton's offense this season without Brees. Brady is the scapegoat to buy Rhule more time.

I highly doubt that BK, with all the pressure that comes with this LSU job to win, will put it in the hands of an unproven OC coming off of a terrible season where he just got fired. If you were him, would you really take that chance? Be honest.

It’s what happens to any Head Coach or OC that doesn’t have QBs.

Carolina is not very good and are banged up, no quarterback absolutely no quarterback their best running back is on the bench injured. You’re such a ball buster

Carolina is all McCaffrey. No McCaffrey, no offense. That's what the GM and Rhule want. Carolina dances with the Devil every year, in terms of McCaffrey and injuries. Rhule's head is in the block now.

I think this board may account for 95% of the internet discussion on Joe Brady.
