Coffee/white collar vs Monster/blue collar

Why is there such a huge culture difference between office baws drinking coffee and skilled labor baws with energy drinks?
Seems like all our field baws drink are Monsters. Stopped at the gas station this morning and every single blue collar baw I saw grabbed a Monster or Red Bull out the cooler.
At the office now and everyone is walking around with a cup of coffee.
I’ve never seen a CEO, COO, or executive officer walking around with an energy drink in hand much like it’s rare to see a baw toting around a thermos or warning up a pot of coffee in the field office or construction trailer.
Coffee has been around forever and is typically free or very cheap while these energy drinks are a fairly new fad and $3+ a pop.
Can some baw explain themselves to me?

Monster washes down that meth aftertaste better than coffee

I drink coffee during the week at the office. Weekends during the summer I drink energy drinks because I'm up around doing stuff and don't want to tote coffee around in the heat.

Meanwhile, we elites drink earl grey tea with our pinky out while being served breakfast on the patio.

I like the coffee flavored monsters

This thread is as bad as shitty one someone started yesterday about the bronco mom car.

I think OP wildly underestimates the amount of coffee drinkers in America (an estimated 154 million per the NIH) based solely on his own observations.

Maybe because they're working outside and don't want hot coffee.

While it would be awesome, I do not think the New Iberia Haircut extends beyond the Deep South.

Someone should cold brew coffee and/or put ice in coffee. It would be an amazing invention. They could call it iced coffee or something.

So much truth in this. The energy drink companies have done a great job of associating their products with getting some kind of buzz or high. The meth folk are all about that.

IWhy not both? I drink coffee with breakfast then Red Bull on the way to whatever I’m going to do.

im white collar and i drink both.
but i can answer for you, most field guys drink coffee in the morning, but hard to keep it warm nor do you want a warm drink in the heat. so if you want a pick me up, you drink a monster. plus the energy drinks have more caffeine.
why do you care so much about what other people do?
i mean you are the dumb frick who thinks people should only pay cash for things. and the only time you have seen a ceo or coo is when they pass you in the lobby. stop acting like you are some big shot. Trust me, those of us with an iq over 105 know you are full of shite just by your lack of understanding on financial matters.

I love when OT threads have callbacks to earlier threads

I'm trying to lose weight and have high blood pressure, so Monster is a no go for me. It sucks because I love the taste and there is always a free Monster truck outside the office.

I drink neither. I have actually never had an energy drink and have only had a few cups of coffee in my life.
