Would be the best part, which is why this would be a terrible hire

Uhh very high floor. That is the best part. We aren't having a losing season with Jimbo. We aren't having a program killing type season.

7-6 in 2017 at FSU
5-7 in 2018 with his roster

He ran that program into the ground. You can argue he was mentally checked out but that isn't flattering either.

Would be disappointed because I feel we can do better, but will give him a chance.

He led FSU into a disastrous place. He had the Jamis Winston National Championship era but then, just like LSU without Burrow, the boat began to sink. Jimbo saw it coming and jumped ship. They were 3 and 2 at one point this season. Not very inspiring.

Give me Jimbo with Garrett Riley as his offensive coordinator and I think I'm good.

He isn't what you'd call a creative hire, but you could argue that neither was Kim Mulkey.

It would be funny seeing LSU and A&M fans just switching their opposing ideals instantly

“Haha LSU paid for an underperforming coach!” - A&M

“Haha we got your coach” - LSU

I'm pretty sure I'll just renounce the program and focus enjoying basketball and baseball.

He's won a national championship and he's far better than our last two coaches that have also won national championships. He may not be my first or second choice, but it amazes me that so many people think he's a bad coach. FSU has gone to shite without him and they can't seem to recover. A&M hasn't been relevant outiside of Johnny Manziel since the 90's. Jimbo had them with one loss and a 4th place finish last year.

He went 33-7 with back to back to back 10 or more win seasons following the Natty. Then the 7-6 season when he lost his All-ACC QB for the season during the first game of the season.

They didn't play anyone worth a shite. That's why. Their best win was at the buzzer against 8-4 Florida.

Jimbo managed 270 yards of offense against Bo Pelini. That should be an automatic disqualifier.

I don't think it would be a bad hire, but I feel like they could've done better.

I just think his offense is too clunky and complicated these days.

He had some major discipline issues inside FSU's program that got very toxic too and never seemed to recover.

He’s an infinitely better coach than Ed. Not my first choice but I’d be ok with it

Well the doormat in front of my condo is a better coach than Ed.

Anyone but Aranda and Napier is going to be criticized. One thing is clear, fans don't want anyone that appears as though they've peaked, even if the peak is NC success.

It would be a good hire and a safe hire. This is Woodward’s legacy hire and a hire for future job security. Fisher’s a 10-2 or better coach at LSU given his recruiting potential here. Many others being mentioned are big question marks, Napier, Aranda, Tucker, even Fickel. Woodward is from Louisiana, he doesn’t want to be unemployed in 3 years.

They will beat down Woodward's door, string him up, and lynch him.
