All this is coming from the ops building...

Baker: Wants to stay but has a couple DC offers on the table... Gonna come down on whether he really wants to be a DC or not next season.

Peetz: May be staying on as an assistant... NOT OC. Apparently him and CBK are tight... lets hope my guy is wrong on this one

Daronte: Probably not staying and will most likely go back to NFL

OC: Nothing... no news

DC: Nothing... no news. Regarding Golding though, him and Baker are close so that could help us there though I see it as a long shot.

ETA: This is all from the guy who told me about Faulk and Raymond before news broke so I trust him

I’m not really upset if Peetz stays on to coach QBs. He just isn’t ready for play calling duties.

Baker is good but I would imagine next DC will be coaching LBs

This is the most likely scenario, Peetz and CBK talk every day

Peetz is not a bad coach. He was put into a tough spot and was not ready to be a play caller. He could stay on and coach QBs if BK likes him.

Here come the fricking insiders again. One guy claims to be friends with Kevin Faulk and now the rest of you dickheads feel like you can’t miss out on the message board attention

Max got worse with Peetz here... Maybe he can be the water boy for the QB coach

Well he actually makes sense, because he has zero inside information on the OC/DC haha

He's under contract for next year. LSU has to pay him regardless.

I literally posted on here that Raymond was going to UF and Faulk would not be retained before the news broke lol

Suppose he’s a good offensive analyst? Saban put him in that role twice.

Certainly hope there is news before Wednesday. Can’t imagine not wanting an OC and DC in place by early sighing day.

That’s not impressive, everyone in the building knew that. I have friends who work in the program too and they don’t know anything worth sharing I.E. things that aren’t immediately about to break. That’s why I’m not out here playing message board insider to get e-cred. Give it up, shite is annoying

I actually really like the idea of Peetz staying on as position coach. I agree with an above poster, just wasn’t ready to call plays at this level. But was highly thought of as a position coach at the NFL level.

That's a fair point.

On the one hand, he was trusted with the QBs coach gig for 2 different NFL teams. You can't be a dummy and get a job like that.

On the other hand, Max regressed and held the ball too long, never showing sustained improvement in that area.

Maybe if Brennan doesn't get hurt he has a monster season and we all think Peetz is great.

Regardless, I think Kelly will get it right.

What is this about?

They know each other previously? I reslly don't understand keeping peetz unless it's only for the fact they already owe him that money.

They need to make baker co dc or bump his salary

Seems like baker isn't looking good if he has 2 dc opportunities.
