Peetz is really good breaking down film

Sounds like an analyst
I think he basically had been one, until Orgeron hired him and had him do ... whatever.

I know the title was "Offensive Coordinator", but from the information and description seeping out over the year, it doesn't really sound like an OC job like you see anywhere else. Sounds like he and Mangas were forced to collaborate, both calling plays on the same drive. Neither with any history of doing so.

I know they said they were trying to replicate the Brady-Ensminger vibe, but I said in 2019 that was unique.

The playbook is like a racecar, and Brady upgraded the engine and suspension. Ensminger, as a playcaller, was like a driver= he got a feel for what was happening in a drive, and made the next call. Brady was there to help specify the new plays.
Ensminger by himself was driving an old car.

Peetz (and Mangas) were like putting engineers behind the wheel. They might make nice upgrades, but didn't have the feel to be able to push without going into the wall. Needs to be groomed more before he can do that. There's no reason he can't upgrade the playbook for a more seasoned guy to run.

well there it is!

The old les miles pumper defense!

" HE WAS A GOOD MAN"

has zero to do with his ability to add value to our staff based on what MGK is looking for.

It blows my mind the passing of information here. Y’all would have a difficult time working in the intel world. you get on an open source forum, state where your information is coming from. It’s called burning your sauce or you are being fed disinformation because your known to burn your sauce.

I haven’t seen a single picture of Peetz recruiting hard to believe he would be allowed to just hand around the office if he was being retained for an on field role.

Have bo problem with peetz as an a analyst and Jones as an analyst. They yielded 6 wins and should have never been coordinators

I literally posted on here that Raymond was going to UF and Faulk would not be retained before the news broke lol

A quick scan of your post history doesn’t show that. But I may have overlooked a post or two. Can you link those?

He was put into a tough spot and was not ready to be a play caller
Shocking, he was recommended by a guy who was not ready to be an NFL OC to a guy who was not ready to be a HC

Bullshite. If you knew Raymond was leaving you would’ve “broke the story” here on TD like you’re trying to do now with this nothing news. I swear, the length some of y’all “insiders” go to for attention is both hilarious and obnoxious.

He has already turned down 1 DC job, has another DC offer on the table with a G5 school. He likes it here though so it’s going to come down to whether or not he wants to be a DC next year.

Sounds like he really wants to stay then. I hope he does. One school was smu, do you know the other.

Agreed. Just reminds me of this...."ok, enough about me...what do you think about me?"

Something I've noticed...all the "insiders" have basically disappeared with the addition of CBK. Have all the supposed "sauces/leaks" dried up now? Looks like the little dutch boy has plugged all the holes in the dam.

ETA: We'll all know who the OC/DC will be when they're hired and announced.

On the one hand, he was trusted with the QBs coach gig for 2 different NFL teams. You can't be a dummy and get a job like that.

Was he?

I thought he was an assistant QB coach in the NFL ...not the QB coach.

The only reason it looked like Max got worse is because he played in more games. He was never that good

He’s been an assistant QB coach twice and QB coach twice along with a variety of other analyst type positions and one year as RB coach.

Peetz: May be staying on as an assistant

Kelly didn’t retain guys like Faulk and Raymond. Unless Peetz is willing to be a GA and wash Kelly’s car and pick up his dry cleaning, he’s out.

You’d think growing up with an NFL QB dad the mechanics would be taught early
