Cruiting is more about effort than ability. Will he recruit vs can he

Joe Brady was our wide receivers coach. It’s where he spent the majority of his practice time and it’s his specialty. The only reason he wasn’t called the wide receivers coach is because we needed Mickey Joseph in a recruiting position.
With a leverage-read based offense your OC, QB coach, and WR coach basically have to be the same person. The fact that CSE and Brady were able to "meld minds" is a minor miracle and was a wonder to behold.

That being said, we're back to the OC being the REAL QB and WR coach (at minimum schematically) and that's the only way we ever approach 2019 again.

Right. Most of recruiting these days is being willing to text and FaceTime kids everyday

Plenty? Not risky at all? Let’s hear your list.

Calloway could just stay as an analyst and get a raise

He’s already on the field with a headset

If he has a headset and is coaching players, he isn't an analyst.

Good grief, did you just start paying attention? Analysts have been full bore coaching for years. We’ve had analysts on the sidelines with headsets for at least the last two years.

It is supposed to be against the rules, but it’s not enforced at all.

I’m thinking that Calloway was promoted and Linehan was removed of all coaching duties before the season even ended.

That’s the only way to explain Calloway actively coaching QBs on the sideline the last two games

How do you explain Munoz doing it all season last year?

This rule is not enforced.

Well, his title was analyst this year and he was surely on the field with a headset, just like Jorge Munoz last year.

I don’t ever remember seeing Munoz on camera coaching a player on the sidelines.

I fully believe he was definitely coaching during the week but unless I missed it I didn’t see him getting caught on camera acting as a coach.

A headset means nothing. The headsets are primarily to talk between coaches. It’s totally fine for an analyst to talk to the coaching staff.

The last two games of the season we saw Calloway physically grabbing QB’s and coaching them up.

I honestly think Linehan was relieved of his responsibilities before the season ended.

He had a head set on. That’s allowed for analysts. What’s not allowed is them directly coaching players.

Now we all know that happens at every school but I never saw Munoz actually talking to players. I saw that from Calloway.

I mean it’s not likely we would see it or notice it on tv

I’m 1000% sure he’s practically coaching if he’s on the sideline with a headset. Idk how that would even ben enforced.

We noticed it with Calloway though. Calloway pulling Max Johnson to the side immediately as Max left the field and coaching him up after a drive was clearly displayed on national television.

They wouldn’t be that cavalier about it if they hadn’t moved him up.

I’m not saying that Munoz didn’t do any coaching we all know that he did. I’m saying to be so out front as an analyst as Calloway was then someone had to have been removed from coaching duties. The only someone I would think would’ve been removed is Linehan.
