hate trying to blindly recreate the Brady offense.

We’re working on an LSU system. It’s not feasible to completely tear down and rebuild your system every couple of years on offense when you have to hire new coordinators.

So you keep the system in tact and hire guys capable of running it effectively.

That’s the same thing Alabama has been doing since Kiffin left.

Brady brought in the new concepts and he had a big influence and probably called a good portion and maybe even most of the plays but make know mistake the offense was run by Ensminger and whatever Brady did it was because Ensminger allowed him to do it.

Brady was and is great but people just wanting to dismiss Ensminger are mistaken. He saw what Brady could bring to the table and let him go. That is something Ensminger didn’t have to do.

You’re not wrong but there are plenty of examples of coaches not doing what E did in order for LSU to be great and he deserves recognition for that.

For offering to let someone come in and do his job? In a way, i guess. Thanks steve for opening ed up to the fact that you couldnt be an effective OC and offering to bring someone else to teach you....i guess

E still did his job and part of his job was taking in things that Brady brought and working with him to make the 2019 offense special.

Ensminger was a good OC before and after Brady came to LSU. Brady and Ensminger were great together.

I've heard that a lot of it depends on Ryan Day's future. I've haven't heard a definite either way

I do too, but there's a lot of advantages to an NFL job over a college job.
