Doesn’t the NCAA still have to make their ruling on a punishment or not? I would think that’s a big factor.

Your leadership and systems really show how good they are when you’re not around. He’s been gone half the season and they have still looked elite. He is absolutely worth it

In the same way Jimbo was worth every penny for me - BK will win a natty and Harbaugh and Day be unceremoniously dumped - hope it's signed before they lose to bama by 17+

But does he stay? Harbaugh has been itching to go back to the league especially when Michigan wasn't doing well. They know this so they think this will entice him to stay. Question is, does he really want to continue through the grind or go back to the NFL. Because the Raiders look like a great landing spot. The defense isn't bad and you have some good players on the team but need a few pieces to make them good. While Davis isn't the greatest owner, he's a lot better than whatever they have with the Bears and Panthers. The Bears would be my next option because of that defense but that's it. The Panthers are a dumpster fire.

I would argue that they haven't really looked elite. They played 2 games all year and have looked sloppy. Their offense is putrid and their defense is over rated in my opinion. They will come back down to earth in the CFP. Same as always for them.

Lots of teams can look elite in that conference. You only have to get up for 2 or 3 games a year.

That speaks more to the weakness of the B1G than anything.

Must be nice to not play a ranked team until mid-November, and then win your toughest games with mediocre offense because your opponents can't figure out the forward pass.

Michigan will get destroyed again in the CFP. He coaches in a weak sister league.

It's as if y'all forget what Michigan was doing before he got there.

So he only has to promise not to look at NFL jobs this offseason but can pursue them in the other 4 years of the contract?

Memories are an instrument of convenience here, sir.
