So is Chip Kelly fired from UCLA or is volunteering to take a demotion at OSU

Chip knows he has lost all momentum at UCLA, and he doesn't have the energy to climb up the absolutely brutal transfer/NIL mountain. Good move for him, and Ohio State is incredibly fortunate not to be stuck with BOB right now.

Kelly leaving might net nothing or close to it bc now he owes UCLA a $1.5M buyout.

I think this will be one more common. As people have already stated, if you don’t want to recruit in the first place then you definitely do t want to re-recruit your roster every year.
