His contract had another year on it. So no buyout next year. He made 6.1 last year. Taxes and cost of living in LA eats up a lot of that 6 million.

Clearly the OSU OC job is a huge upgrade for him as he will have a very good chance to win a natty with those weapons he has at his disposal....and he'll do what he does best, coaching football.... I won't call anyone a genius but he is as close to what there is to that in his scheming and play-calling. Now he can concentrate on only that instead or recruiting, NIL, and the portal, things he despises.
