I love that he has an opportunity to further his bond with their offensive players. I think that’s meaningful and by god that’s what coaching is all about

I still do. I’ve hated him as our OC for 3 years. But since Lane left for LSU, people have done a 180 and started saying this dipshit is the real reason our offense has been so good the last few years.

This isn’t a good idea. With everything that has happened, if they lose and if they struggle on offense, his play calling will be picked apart and he will be accused of sabotage.
Everybody knows it. These Ole Miss fans and National Media members have already made it extremely clear that their feelings and opinions matter more than rational thought and facts.
This is a Bad idea!!

I feel like with Kiffin it doesn’t really matter who the OC is tbh. I do think it’s super nice of Lane to let Charlie coach for the playoffs. He didn’t have to do that

Ole Miss has a 0.00% chance of winning the Title. Listening to their AD say they have had people call them and tell them how they could win the Championship was laughable.

This is what I don’t get about the take that seems to imply proximity to the players for a few more weeks would result in mass transfers. They all have mobile phones and know each other inside and out. Wise move by Ole Miss allowing this, as I don’t think blocking it would prevent any transfer of any player.

I agree with this. Good PR move for Kiffin, but a bad move for LSU.
Without Kiffin, Weis had like the worst offense in the conference at USF for three straight years.
If Ole Miss looks like shite on offense, people are going to start wondering why we gave him $2m/year. (I already am)
